Mahjong for Beginners

Have you been curious about Mahjong and wondered what all the excitement is about? Join us for this fun and interactive beginner’s Mahjong series designed to introduce new players to the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a welcoming, social environment.

Over three sessions, participants will learn tile recognition, game setup, gameplay basics, strategy, and scoring while practicing with fellow beginners. By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to join a game and continue playing on your own.

Because Mahjong is learned through hands-on practice and group play, attendance at all sessions is required. Participants will build skills together each week, allowing everyone to progress at the same pace.
